Job Specifications:
– Independently manage diverse survey projects to deliver projects accurately and on time, as well as within budget
– Lead and coordinate survey teams’ scheduling
– Prepare project proposals, liaise with clients on project status, provide technical advice as required, and build strong client relationships
– Consult with government and regulatory professionals on complex technical and legal issues
– Research on-line databases for plans and regulations
– Familiar with CAD software
– Mentor and develop technical expertise within the survey teams
Requirements:
– Commissioned British Columbia Land Surveyor or LST
– Excellent knowledge of survey techniques, equipment and related technology
– Excellent knowledge of related municipal bylaws and regulations, legal and statutory requirements
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Demonstrated initiative, teamwork and leadership abilities
– Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
– Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license
