A curved landmark west of Olympic Village.
The Avenue One development, located just west of Olympic Village in Vancouver at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Columbia Street, comprises 247 market residential units. Situated on an atypically shaped lot, the development used a unique curved design, enhancing the waterfront view for river-fronting residents.
Civil engineering scope
MPT Engineering provided civil engineering services including conceptual design input for stormwater analysis requirements and detailed design of roadway infrastructure and site service connections. Road widening was undertaken for the inclusion of a new on-road bicycle facility along West 1st and additional parking along Cook Street.
