The Parq Casino, located in downtown Vancouver, adjacent to BC Place and Rogers Arena, is a large-scale mixed-use entertainment complex comprising of two hotel towers with over 700 hotel units. Ground level, totalling over 72,000 square feet includes retail space, restaurants, and public amenities.

Civil engineering requirements included watermain and storm sewer extensions along Smithe Street totalling over 300m, and notably the roadway extension to Smite Street, terminating with a roundabout for facilitating new access to the development. Further frontage improvements along Pacific Boulevard were additionally required, notably the extension of the sidewalk and landscape improvements.
